FAQ

As we work primarily on a commission basis, we do not maintain a large inventory. However, we occasionally have select pieces available for direct purchase from the studio. Please contact us directly for a list of currently available works.
Our studio operates primarily on a commission basis. Each work is created to order, in close dialogue with the client. Every commission begins with a conversation, aligning your vision with our creative capabilities. Based on your choice of materials, compositions, and scale, we will propose either a piece from our collection, a customised version, or a fully bespoke design by Marcin Rusak and his team.

Once we’ve agreed on the project’s scope, a 50% deposit is required to initiate production. We will provide detailed specifications, including dimensions, samples, and any other necessary visual references.

Upon completion, you will receive images of the finished piece along with crate dimensions and weight. We gladly assist with shipping arrangements.

Throughout the process, our team is available to offer guidance and support.

We invite you to discuss bespoke projects, commissions, or custom adaptations directly with the studio.
We welcome collaborations with design professionals. Our trade programme offers exclusive benefits to interior designers, architects, art consultants, and procurement specialists. Please feel free to contact us directly for more details.

Marcin Rusak’s designs emerge from his intuitive process, deeply influenced by experimentation with materials and his exploration of the natural world. Each piece reflects a dialogue between the organic and the human-made, shaped by his artistic journey.

Crafted by master artisans in Europe, our pieces are one-of-a-kind and may exhibit natural variations in colour and texture. These subtle differences add character and uniqueness to the handmade work. We embrace the passage of time and environmental factors as part of the creative process, while also ensuring that our materials can be restored or repurposed.
The development of unique materials is central to our practice. For bespoke projects, we often create custom samples tailored to the client’s vision. We also maintain a collection of samples available for short-term loans. Please contact us at info@marcinrusak.com to learn more.
For most bespoke commissions, we collaborate closely with clients to develop custom materials. Based on the specifics of your project, we will recommend the best solutions and provide an estimated lead time.
Lead times depend on the nature of the order and our current schedule. Typically, smaller pieces require 8–12 weeks, while larger works take 22–28 weeks. Lead times commence upon receipt of payment. Expedited orders may be available with a 30% surcharge.
We offer worldwide shipping and can coordinate logistics on your behalf using our preferred carrier. Shipping costs are determined via quote, which may take up to three business days. The shipping costs will be added to our final invoice (CPT delivery).

If you prefer to arrange your own shipping, we can facilitate pickup from our production facility in Poland.

All works must be paid for in full prior to shipment or pickup. Completed pieces may be stored for up to 14 days, after which they will be transferred to an offsite storage facility and storage fees will apply.
Due to the unique nature of our work, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or provide refunds or credits.
With the botanical matter always at the core of the creative process, Marcin Rusak Studio has grown to encompass a variety of projects that span from conceptual research and material development, to unique collectable items, large-scale artistic installations and bespoke realizations made in collaboration with the world’s most sought-after interior architects, top collectable design galleries, well-established brands and prominent art institutions. Handmade in Europe, our pieces are available exclusively on a commission basis, in keeping with the premise that we do not add to the global overproduction of goods. The process of creating our pieces is extremely labour-intensive and time-consuming, as everything, from collecting and processing waste flowers, to casting the resin as well as metal and woodworking is done by hand in our Warsaw studio and across a network of dedicated, seasoned craftspeople ready to deliver to the most demanding of clients.

Each year, only a limited number of our pieces leave our Warsaw studio to find a new, carefully selected home. When discussing your project, we are eager to propose an array of material and technical solutions, provide you with bespoke sketches and technical drawings, renderings and moodboards, and custom samples that will help envision your project. With full personal control over the creative and production processes, we are keen to work with you on a new creative adventure.
